We designed our autonomous boat on two criteria that are important to us: measurement accuracy and boat reliability.

Made in France, we are
the first users of our solution.
 
Being in the design and the use allows us to improve our solution and to be really efficient.

Navigation system

Equipped with 2 powerful motors of 350 W each, our boat can move at coherent speeds for bathymetry (1 m / s).

Our BathyDrone® solution, on the other hand, is better suited to the river (3 m / s).


It does not have a steering system for the two engines ensuring this function.


The boat can be controlled in manual mode thanks to its radio control (up to 1 km).


It also has a controller for planning trips in advance. The position and orientation of the boat are reported on a basemap with all the navigation parameters.


With its integrated camera, we have real-time video feedback.

Measuring instruments

Regarding the measurement accuracy, we have chosen the best sensors on the market.


The mono-beam sounder comes from the company AIRMAR, leader in acoustic submersible sounders.
It sends a wave at 200 kHz with a beam opening of 9 ° to 10 dB.


The GNSS RTK receiver is a 444-channel dual-frequency system.

The real-time corrections are provided by the Teria network via a European multi-network operator.


An on-board computer makes it possible to mix and synchronize the different data that is received at a frequency of 10 Hz.


The Bathydrone takes on multi-beam sensors (M3 Kongsberg ...) if necessary.
It can also be interfaced with many sensors on the market (Tritech PA500, ADCP probe, etc.).


The winch allows us to lower a large number of equipment including that of our customers.

Communication with the operator

Communication with the operator is via a WIFI system on 5 Ghz.


The range is around 1000 m. but a connection to the 4G network is available if long distances are envisaged.


The on-board computer continuously records the data and it is possible to install usual software (Hypack, Qinsy, Hydromagic, etc.).


On the bank, our operator pilots and monitors the boat in real time and checks the quality of the measurement.

We have, as part of the development of our new Bathydrone®, created a perfectly integrable tool which can also be adapted to other drone boats.


Our winch is fully autonomous and can go down to 80m for a payload of 3kg.


It is designed and manufactured in Haute-Savoie.
